In Penta’s latest analysis, we employ natural language processing techniques to examine public media data for UK insurance sector firms based on language used around news of proactive equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) policies.

Key Findings:

  • Companies face an incentive to close gender gaps, as research from Morgan Stanley suggests the most gender-diverse companies outperform their regional peers by 1.7 percentage points on average.
  • Education programs and employee groups improve leaders’ performance.
