Stephanie Dodge Bigley

Stephanie is a senior director at Penta, where she leads the firm’s expanding portfolio of legal work. An attorney and strategic communications counselor, she advises clients on how public affairs can advance their legal position and minimize reputational risk. Stephanie regularly works with clients involved in litigation, government investigations, or regulatory scrutiny and helps clients engage with top-of-mind policy issues.

Prior to rejoining HPS in 2022, Stephanie was a litigator at a boutique law firm in Texas. Stephanie practiced complex commercial litigation and white-collar defense and was named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2022. Stephanie served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable David A. Ezra in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. She also supported Judge Ezra during his sittings on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, on which Judge Ezra sits by designation.

Before law school, Stephanie was a director at Hamilton Place Strategies. She assisted a wide variety of clients, including financial services companies, global foundations, and alternative asset managers.

Stephanie received a JD, with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in history from The University of Virginia. She serves on the boards of the San Antonio Book Festival and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Stephanie lives in San Antonio with her husband and their two dogs. You can usually find the whole family hiking or swimming in the Texas Hill Country.
