Penta announces the launch of global AI task force

Bringing data scientists, policy experts, and strategists together to help clients stay ahead

Penta, the world’s first comprehensive stakeholder solutions firm, today announced the launch of its global Artificial Intelligence task force.

The cross-functional, global task force puts Penta’s data scientists side-by-side with public policy experts and strategists to provide our clients unparalleled AI-powered capabilities as well as a deep understanding of an evolving regulatory framework. Our goal is to enable all Penta clients to know faster and act faster on AI development. Penta’s combination of intelligence and strategy means we can answer questions that were once unanswerable and use those answers to develop and execute winning strategies to keep clients ahead of the AI curve.

The task force will be co-led by Alberto Lopez-Valenzuela, senior partner, Intelligence based in London, and Andrea Christianson, partner, Strategy in Washington, DC and will draw on the expertise of Penta from around the world.

The official launch follows more than a decade of cutting edge, AI-driven machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) innovation by Penta’s award-winning intelligence teams. In 2021, Penta’s ESG Intelligence solution was recognized as the Most Innovative Machine Learning Solution at the 2021 AI & Machine Learning Awards.

“We are already using our award-winning AI platform and data science expertise to help clients solve problems that would have been nearly impossible to solve only months ago,” said Lopez-Valenzuela. “We are innovating fast, leveraging these new tools to access and assess information with more precision and insight, and are excited about the new solutions we’re developing daily.”

Penta’s winning innovations are complemented by deep technology policy expertise among Penta’s U.S., U.K., Asia and EU strategy teams, as well as ongoing assessment and tracking of rapidly changing public sentiment on AI.

“Generative AI is a game changer, but could also be a minefield, for businesses in every industry. Staying ahead means having a finger on the pulse of AI developments and creating thoughtful, flexible frameworks to understand and engage employees, political actors, customers, and investors,” said Christianson. “Penta is uniquely positioned to help clients engage and win with their stakeholders in this new technological era.”

Penta is already supporting clients on the issue of generative AI across a wide range of capabilities, including:

  • Message development and refinement, including testing and focus groups
  • Global regulatory landscape analyses
  • Stakeholder mapping and vetting
  • Media monitoring
  • Creative development and advertising
