Mike has worked with many of the leading brands, including Airbnb, Lyft, Estée Lauder Companies, Danny Meyer & the Union Square Hospitality Group, Microsoft, Meta, and the National Hockey League.
Mike’s book Maximum Momentum: How to Get It and How to Keep It reveals the 5 drivers of momentum – Disruption, Innovation, Polarization, Stickiness, and Social impact. Mike led the development of the proprietary MFactor analysis, which measures the cultural momentum of any brand, product, person, or movement, helping to drive growth and identify opportunities and risks.
Prior to founding Decode_M, Mike was CEO of Edelman Berland and president of Penn, Schoen & Berland. Mike is the former chair of the Gotham Chapter of the New York City Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and is a Commonwealth Scholar from the University of Massachusetts.
